When you're done doing everything there is to do, head to the docks and speak
with the Ship Captain. Return to Fountain Square to start an event in which
Claude's wallet gets stolen. Go to the docks and talk to the little boy and
girl, they tell you that Ketil is normally playing alone near the bar so head
there. Claude gets his wallet back and Ketil agrees to be a tour guide. Enter
the Mansion on the Hill, the first building at the bottom when you enter Kurik,
to start a scene with Ketil's mother and housekeeper.

   Make your way to Fountain Square where an earthquake occurs, ignore it and
talk to the children on the docks. Ketil and the kids make up and play, the
party decides it's time to move on. Last chance to get anything you want done
because after you talk to the Ship Captain there's no turning back. The Ship
Captain will tell Claude to make any last minute purchases before heading off
so return to Fountain Square. An earthquake of seismic proportions occurs and
a FMV begins, head up the stairs after it ends to start another one. Speak with
the captain afterwards who directs the group to the town of Harley and notes
Marze is a good place to rest and stock up. Finish talking to everyone and head
south towards Krosse then east to Marze.

OPTIONAL: Pickpocket old man next to inn for [GOODIE BOX] and obtain powerful
           weapons.

   This is a rare chance to upgrade to some very powerful gear early in the game
and should be taken. There is an old man next to the inn who gives a [GOODIE
BOX] upon successful pickpocket. This box gives three random items to you out
of a pool of near 300. A few of the items are extremely powerful for this point
of the game such as the Sword of Marvels or the Luminous Slicers. These items
have over 1000 Attack Power and will not be upgraded for a while. If you want
an easier trek for the first half of the game it is recommended that you steal
the Goodie Box, save outside of Marze, and reload if the box yields nothing of
value.

   Start off by entering the building on the top left to start an event. The Le
group discovers that all the children in town were kidnapped and the ransom is
500,000 Fol and the Secret Book. After some more conversation, Rena decides
that she is going with Dias. With the party now split, it's time to gather some
treasure. Re-enter the building you were just in and open the chests in the
back room for [SOUR SYRUP], [PURPLE AMULET], and [SILENCE CARD]. Head to the
east side of town and into the top right house, Celine's house. Open the chest
upstairs for a [SILK ROBE]. Head to the Item Shop and stock up on Blueberries
as well as upgrade your equipment. Purchase the Flame Sword here if you did not
get the Sword of Marvels or anything better from the Goodie Box earlier.
